London Ontario is a city in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It’s located halfway between Toronto and Windsor along Highway 401, the country’s busiest highway. London has a population of approximately 515,000 people and it is the 8th largest city in Canada by population. There are many things to do while visiting London such as taking a stroll through Old Town or exploring the Thames River Promenade which runs through town. If you’re thinking about visiting Toronto then consider stopping off at London on your way there. The upside is that it doesn’t rain almost everyday in Canada’s London.
The distance between London and Toronto is approximately 335 km (208 miles). The drive time to get from London to Toronto is 4 hours, 26 minutes.
The train journey time from London to Toronto is 3 hours, 36 minutes. You can take a bus or boat instead of flying if you’d like to save money on your trip.
To get from London to Toronto, you should take Highway 401 East until you reach the Don Valley Parkway. Head south on this road and then continue onto Highway 404 East. Follow this route until you reach Highway 401 West and then take that highway to Toronto.
Toronto is a great city to visit, but it’s even better if you have another destination in mind. For example, London Ontario is only half a day away from Toronto and it has so much to offer! If you want to see some of Canada’s best attractions then I recommend visiting both cities because each one has something different about them.
