How to Reset Maintenance Light on Toyota Tacoma

Step 1: Turn the key to the “ON” position.

To start the process, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the “ON” position without starting the engine.

Step 2: Locate the maintenance button.

You’ll spot the “MAINT” button on the left side of the dashboard. Hold it down for a few seconds until the maintenance light blinks.

Step 3: Release the maintenance button.

Once the maintenance light starts blinking, release the “MAINT” button.

Step 4: Press the trip meter reset button.
